For our entertainment ?

People love to see weird and unusual things. Without thinking they feel entertained and amused when a bear balances on a ball. Or when an elephant stands on only two legs. Not knowing that these animals are hit and abused when they are going trough their so called ''training''. And hybride animals, a miracle or a mistake ? Sure they look unusual en different. But how is this good ? Most of these animals suffer from conflicting natural instincts. Their immune system is beyond poor, infact most of these animals dont even make it to their first month. Is the pain that we cause to these animals, worth our entertainment ?

Our need to take ?

Habitat destruction by human activity are mainly for the purpose of harvesting natural recources for industry production and urbanization. In this progress many organisms are killed. Pollution is an other way of habitat destruction. Because of our constant use of chemicals we pollute our air, being one of the biggest causes of global warming. Ice caps are melting and coral riffs are dying. Is our need to take, worth risking the wealth of our planet ?

This is culture ?

Every country has its own cultural differences. Most people get their meat from cows, pigs and chickens. However in other countries its part of the tradition to eat guinea pig, cats and dogs. Most people will tell you thats unacceptable. They are right for the most part. Cows are animals and have equal rights. However in most countries lifestock is killed in a humaine way. This isnt the case in parts of south china and peru. Where cats and dogs are held in cages to small to move. They are burned and skinned alive. How is this humaine ? How is this culture ?
